Our Undertaking
To companion and educate you through unrestricted human interaction, from anticipatory grief (Before), to an intimate and exquisitely crafted celebration of life funeral or memorial service (During), and through the uncertain, often solitary path of grief (After).
Wherever you are on your journey, we will accompany you. It is a privilege to stand beside you as you do this and, in some very small way, help you to facilitate these sacred rites of passage.
Our philosophy is simple: celebrate life by being radically connected and involved. Unlike the identikit funerals encouraged by the industry, which turn you into an audience at one of the most significant moments in your family's history, we empower you as a family and community and invite you to join us in our philosophy.
Our undertaking to you is honesty, appropriateness and participation in one of the most real experiences we can go through, our encounter with death. Our own, and more significantly, the death of those we love.

How We Can Help You, Before, During and After
BEFORE Your End-of-Life Doula enables you to have an advocate before a death has occurred, providing tangible practical supports, education, compassion and resourcing.
DURING Your Funeral Director will accompany you, not steer you, and together we will do the practicalities of what needs to happen, the documentation, the ceremonial venue, the ritual and the practical transfer of the body from the world of the living to a place of transformation, the grave or the fire.
AFTER Our monthly Death Cafe is part of our commitment to education, awareness, grief support and celebrating life. The Death Cafe provides a sacred space for open, judgment-free conversations about shared experiences, concerns, or fears related to death, dying and bereavement. Tea, coffee, cake and hugs provided free!
